Chios Mastiha Reward - the most traditional product

The Chios Gum Mastic Growers Association successfully participated in the 1st Interactive Exhibition “Tastes and Life – Geusis & Zoi” that was organised in Zappeio Megaron by the Ministry of Rural Growth and Foods from 8 till 11 April 2010.
The program of the events was toped off with a competition of products awards, where the visitors elected and rewarded the products that gained their impressions.
The Chios Mastiha was rewarded as the most traditional product (product that emanates from Greek raw materials and reflects with the best way the morals, the customs and the gastronomic culture of its place of origin).
